About the Role

Do you enjoy staying active, working with a great TEAM, and being part of memorable events? Are you dependable, energetic, and take pride in creating clean, organized, and welcoming event spaces?

We are looking for Banquet Setup Associates to join our TEAM on AM and PM shifts. In this role, you will help prepare, refresh, and break down banquet and event spaces for weddings, celebrations, meetings, conferences, and special events.

You will play an important behind-the-scenes role in making sure every event is set up correctly, on time, and ready for our guests. From arranging tables and chairs to setting up linens, place settings, buffets, and meeting equipment, your attention to detail and teamwork will help create a seamless guest experience.

Typical Shift Responsibilities

AM Shift

• Prepare banquet rooms and event spaces for the day's functions

• Set tables, chairs, linens, place settings, and event equipment according to diagrams and specifications

• Assist with breakfast, meetings, conferences, and daytime events

• Refresh and reset rooms between functions

• Maintain clean, organized, and guest-ready event spaces

PM Shift

• Set up and reset spaces for evening events, weddings, dinners, and receptions

• Assist with room flips and changes between events

• Break down tables, chairs, linens, equipment, and event areas after functions

• Assist with post-event cleanup and proper storage of banquet equipment

• Prepare spaces for the following day's events when needed

Responsibilities

• Set up and break down banquet rooms, meeting spaces, tables, chairs, linens, place settings, and event equipment

• Follow banquet event orders, room diagrams, and setup instructions

• Ensure event spaces are clean, organized, and ready for guests

• Complete room flips and resets between events

• Assist with buffet, beverage station, and refreshment setup as needed

• Move and arrange tables, chairs, staging, dance floors, and other event equipment

• Maintain clean and organized banquet storage and service areas

• Assist banquet servers and other TEAM members as needed during events

• Communicate effectively with banquet captains, catering staff, kitchen staff, and other TEAM members

• Respond promptly to changes in event setups and guest or team requests

• Follow all hotel safety, sanitation, and service standards

• Handle banquet equipment and supplies safely and properly

• Maintain a professional appearance and appropriate uniform at all times

• Complete opening, ongoing, and closing duties according to assigned shift

Requirements

• Prior banquet, hotel, restaurant, event, or hospitality experience preferred; willing to train the right candidate

• Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented

• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow room diagrams and instructions

• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

• Strong communication and teamwork skills

• Comfortable working independently and as part of a TEAM

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, push, pull, and lift for extended periods

• Ability to safely lift and carry tables, chairs, equipment, linens, and supplies as needed

• Flexible availability, including AM and/or PM shifts, weekends, holidays, and seasonal events

• Ability to work early mornings or later evening hours depending on assigned shift

• Basic English communication skills; ability to read and understand setup instructions and communicate effectively with TEAM members

• Must maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude
