Typical responsibilities
- Plan and coordinate banquets, weddings, corporate events, and private functions
- Manage event timelines, menus, staffing, setup, and service
- Communicate with clients and handle special requests
- Coordinate with kitchen, service, sales, and operations teams
- Prepare event proposals, contracts, budgets, and invoices
- Supervise and train banquet staff
- Monitor food quality, presentation, service standards, and guest satisfaction
- Manage event costs, inventory, and labor
- Resolve guest concerns and unexpected issues during events
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hospitality standards
