Room Attendant

As a Housekeeper, you’ll help create clean, comfortable, and welcoming spaces through dependable residential housekeeping and cleaning. You’ll care for rooms, surfaces, floors, and laundry while following cleaning and sanitation procedures. This hands-on role may include outdoor work and lifting or moving supplies and equipment.

Duties

• Clean and sanitize rooms, kitchens, bathrooms, and other surfaces; dust, vacuum, and perform floor cleaning and floor care
• Handle laundry and, when requested, prepare meals through cooking
• Select and use cleaning detergents and cleaning equipment safely; maintain tools and supplies
• Communicate with clients, respond to service needs, and deliver attentive customer service
• Organize tasks efficiently, including heavier manual handling and lifting, to keep work areas orderly

Experience

• Experience in residential cleaning or residential housekeeping is helpful; janitorial, custodial, commercial cleaning, or carpet cleaning experience is also valued
• Familiarity with cleaning surfaces, floor care, laundry, and sanitation practices is an asset
• Strong time management, client communication, and customer service skills
• Able to perform physical tasks, including manual handling and heavy lifting, and work outdoors when needed
• Housekeeping management experience is a plus; willingness to follow safe procedures and use cleaning equipment responsibly is important
