Monday - Friday, 7:00 a.m. - 4:00/5:00 p.m.; Occasional on-call/weekend support as business needs arise

Our Facilities Dispatcher plays an integral role in the day-to-day operations of our department. They are responsible for ensuring the efficient and accurate deployment of technicians and provide support to the team as needed. Key Responsibilities: 

1) Work Order Intake & Assignment

  • Receives service requests and prioritizes by impact. 
  • Creates and validates work orders; assigns technicians by skillset, location, and workload. 

2) Communication Hub 

  • Serves as the central contact between restaurants and technicians; provides ETA and progress updates. 
  • Escalates critical issues immediately and relays directions and real-time changes. 

3) Tracking & Accountability 

  • Monitors work-order progress in real time; verifies arrival/start/completion and communicates delays or parts needs. 
  • Ensures complete closeout and follows up on overdue jobs with clean handoffs between coverage periods.

4) Problem Solving 

  • Re-prioritizes during multiple high-impact issues using sound judgment and escalation guidelines. 
  • Anticipates downstream impacts and coordinates with restaurant leadership.

Qualifications 

  • Experience in dispatching, facilities/maintenance coordination, restaurant operations, logistics, or public safety. 
  • Clear, professional communication; strong note-taking and attention to detail. 
  • Demonstrated ability to multitask and prioritize in a high-volume, fast-moving environment. 
  • Technology-fluent and comfortable with modern communication tools; proficiency with CMMS platforms, email, and basic spreadsheets; ability to learn new systems quickly.
