Essential Job Functions
  • Takes orders from customers or Servers
  • Mixes ingredients such as liquor, soda, water, sugar, and bitters to prepare cocktails and other drinks
  • Serves wine and draught or bottled beer
  • Collects money for drinks served
  • Orders or requisitions liquors and supplies
  • Arranges bottles and glasses to make attractive display
  • Slices and pits fruit for garnishing drinks
  • Must follow point-of-sale procedures accurately
  • Responsible for the balancing of individual cash drawers
  • Responsible for set-up and break down of special event bars
  • Responsible for outlet liquor inventories
  • Must have ability to pour a high volume of drinks, in excess of 300 per hour
  • Ensures all departmental personnel follow the Family Style Service model at all times
  • Must be able to work a variety of hours, holidays and weekends
  • May be required to perform other duties as assigned
  • Assists Servers as needed

    Qualifications
    To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty

    satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

    Education And/Or Experience

    High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months’ related experience and/or

    training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must be able to work with the public presenting

    a clean, courteous image.

    Language Skills
    Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.

    Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group

    situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.

    MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's

    and 100's. Ability to perform these operations using units of US money and weight measurement, volume, and

    distance.

    Must possess and maintain an Indiana Liquor License
