Hostess / Host

We are seeking a poised, professional hostess to be the welcoming face at Lakewood Country Club. This leadership role is ideal for someone who excels at Member relations and sets the tone for exceptional hospitality from the moment a Member arrives

Position Overview:

The hostess is responsible for managing the host stand, coordinating reservations and seating, and supporting the front-of-house team to ensure a seamless and refined Member experience. This role requires confidence, attention to detail, and a calm, polished presence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet and seat Members with professionalism and genuine hospitality
• Manage reservations and coordinate with the service team to maintain smooth operations
• Train and support the host staff to uphold excellence in Member experience
• Handle Member inquiries, complaints and special requests with grace and efficiency
• Oversee front-of-house presentation to maintain a polished atmosphere

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a Host/Hostess or Front-of-House Leader
• Excellent communication and people skills
• Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail
• Positive attitude and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Availability of flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends and holidays
