Job Description
The Corporate IT Manager is responsible for developing strategy and vision for the organization regarding the planning, implementation, and management of technology across the portfolio, ensuring optimum support and security. This position will work closely with property teams, corporate teams, strategic vendors, and other technology teams to deliver optimal IT solutions. The IT Manager must be results-driven and highly focused on the customer experience; they must have technical and managerial experience to lead property teams and assist others on the executive team. This person must possess strong interpersonal skills, work with tight schedules, understand high pressure, fast-paced situations and be comfortable meeting strict deadlines and solving complex problems.Job Responsibilities
Ensures commitment to fully operational and uninterrupted service at every property (specifically when handling wireless internet, property management systems, and point of sale)
Develops and communicates technology vision and goals with ownership and property teams
Develops IT strategic plan and deployment of property technology and infrastructure
Develops and effectively manages the IT budget including estimating and establishing cost parameters and ROI
Reviews current IT systems, evaluating effectiveness and recommending enhancements
Responsible for design ad set up of new hotel infrastructure with each property opening
Implements and manages technology to streamline internal operations to optimize strategic benefits
Ensures technology processes comply with all requirements, laws, and regulations
Researches current and new industry trends, technologies and software development
Collaborates with the Ops and Executive Teams to create long-term plans and improvements
Establishes, communicates, and enforces IT guidelines and standards
Creates and customizes technology systems for optimized performance, including developing and documenting (SOPs) systems and processes for effective utilization
Purchases technology software, equipment, and accessories to better
Responsible for user support, training and adoption of all systems, hardware and equipment used at all properties, restaurants, and at the corporate office
Provides day-to-day guidance to properties and corporate office
May be assigned other duties as necessary as it relates to ITJob Qualifications
Minimum 2-3 years of experience in IT delivering large-scale enterprise services
2+ years of hospitality experience preferred
Prior experience with various point of sale, property management systems strongly preferred
Experience developing technology plans that align with property priorities and goals
Comfortable with ambiguity, operating with a high degree of initiative and possessing a strong sense of urgency.
Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to comfortably interact with leadership team, strategic vendors, and property-level team members
Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to accuracy
