Bartender

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team. As a Bartender at our waterfront resort, you will play a key role in creating a welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere for our guests. From crafting signature cocktails to providing friendly and attentive service, you will contribute to the overall guest experience and help maintain our resort's reputation for excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, mocktails, beer, and wine, adhering to recipe standards and guest preferences.
• Engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner, providing recommendations and ensuring their satisfaction with their drinks.
• Maintain a clean and organized bar area, including stocking supplies, cleaning glassware, and sanitizing surfaces.
• Adhere to all relevant health, safety, and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff.
• Collaborate with other team members, including servers and kitchen staff, to ensure efficient service and guest satisfaction.
• Handle cash and credit transactions accurately and responsibly, following resort policies and procedures.
• Stay updated on current beverage trends and new product offerings, incorporating them into the drink menu as appropriate.
• Assist with special events and promotions, including themed nights and happy hours, as needed.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a bartender in a high-volume establishment, preferably within a resort or hospitality setting.
• Extensive knowledge of beverage preparation techniques, including mixing cocktails and pouring wine.
• Strong communication and customer service skills, with the ability to engage with guests of diverse backgrounds and preferences.
• Excellent multitasking abilities, with the capacity to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and sanitation.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Certification in responsible alcohol service (e.g., TIPS) is preferred.
