This is your chance to be part of an in-house Commercial Services team that propels Hilton's sales, revenue management, call center, and analytics functions!

What will I be doing?

As a Senior Director, Media Activation, you will manage the deployment of a large discretionary budget for Hilton Advance, our performance media acquisition engine geared at driving bookings and consideration for our 6,100 hotels across the US, Canada, and Caribbean and Latin America. On the Americas Marketing team reporting to the Vice President, Americas Marketing, you will provide leadership support to the Media Activation function while also acting as a thought leader, mentor, and coach to fellow team members across the Marketing & Loyalty organization.

Your responsibilities will also include:

  • Lead a team of media activation professionals, providing coaching, mentoring, and career development opportunities.
  • Manage media budgets, allocating resources to maximize ROI and lead incremental revenue growth.
  • Oversee the implementation and ongoing optimization of tracking and attribution methodologies to measure campaign performance.
  • Manage the marketing budget across media and technology, ensuring resources are allocated to achieve business goals.
  • Monitor and analyze the performance of marketing initiatives and provide recommendations to improve results and ROI.
  • Utilize findings from Marketing Mix Modeling outputs, and other measurement tools, to develop storytelling materials that help partners understand the commercial impact of our initiatives.

How you will collaborate with others:

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align media activation efforts with broader marketing initiatives and business objectives.
  • Foster relationships with external and internal partners, including media agencies, technology vendors, and platforms, to ensure access to the latest resources.

What initiatives you will take ownership of:

  • Utilize findings from Marketing Mix Modeling outputs, and other measurement tools, to develop storytelling materials that help partners understand the commercial impact of our initiatives.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive media channel plans to improve reach, traffic, and conversion across all paid channels.

Requirements

To fulfill this role successfully, you must possess the following minimum qualifications and experience:

  • Twelve (12) years of professional experience
  • Five (5) years of experience leading media and/or performance marketing teams
  • Five (5) years of functional experience in media strategy, buying/activation, or performance type roles
  • Strong presentation and analytical skills.
  • Travel up to 25%.
