Maintenance Technician

Chesapeake Beach Resort, a beautiful oceanfront property in the Florida Keys, is seeking a reliable and hands-on Maintenance / Houseperson to help manage the day-to-day maintenance and upkeep of our resort — including working PM and overnight shifts when needed.

What You’ll Do:
✅ Oversee and perform daily maintenance tasks to keep our resort running smoothly and safely
✅ Manage and supervise all related systems and the building envelope to ensure the safety of guests, associates, and vendors
✅ Maintain compliance with preventative maintenance programs and procedures, standard operating procedures, and all Building/Fire/Health Department codes
✅ Prioritize service requests; schedule and monitor work to ensure guest satisfaction, safety, and convenience
✅ Perform general repairs and support housekeeping by maintaining cleanliness of public and recreational areas
✅ Respond promptly to maintenance calls during PM and overnight shifts as required

What We’re Looking For:
✔ Strong management and problem-solving skills
✔ Some knowledge of HVAC systems, electrical, and plumbing techniques
✔ Ability to work flexible schedules, including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays
✔ Commitment to safety, attention to detail, and excellent guest service
✔ Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull moderate to heavy items
