NOPSI Hotel

Our Story

At NOPSI, everyone’s a local, even those who journey from afar. At our historic hotel—home to oversized guest suites, a rooftop bar & pool, and atmospheric dining—guests are treated to the warmth of a New Orleans welcome, with thoughtful service, personalized touches, and residential-style comforts.

The history of NOPSI is as rich and as storied as New Orleans itself. Constructed during the Roaring Twenties, the iconic property has evolved over its 100-plus years to deliver luxurious modern-day conveniences with plenty of Jazz Age style. Fast-forward to present day and the former headquarters of the New Orleans Public Service Inc. stands as a living American treasure and is listed on the National Registry of Historic Places and a member of Historic Hotels of America.

As the birthplace of Jazz, New Orleans is synonymous with celebration—and there’s no better place to toast to life’s special moments than NOPSI, where past, present, and future converge under one roof. From weddings and social gatherings to business events, our venues are versatile, inspiring canvases fit for every occasion.
