The opportunity

Delaware North Parks and Resorts is seeking a Catering Sales Manager to join our team to support Holiday Inn Estes Park in Estes Park, Colorado, and Nova Guides in Camp Hale, Colorado. As Catering Sales Manager, you will serve as the primary contact for clients after the contract is signed, focusing on event detailing, upselling food and beverage, and ensuring flawless execution of catering-only events. This role blends catering sales, event execution, and administrative oversight and provides on-site support at Holiday Inn Estes Park, while supporting Nova Guides remotely.

Pay

Minimum – Anticipated Maximum Base Salary: $55,000 – $62,200 / year

In addition to base salary, we offer an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based, uncapped sales incentive plan. What will you do?

  • Partner with Sales Managers to transition contracted events into detailed BEOs, ensuring all client specifications are accurately captured.
  • Conduct client consultations to finalize menus, layouts, timelines, and logistics while identifying upsell opportunities to maximize revenue
  • Manage catering-only and group events from planning through execution, coordinating with culinary, banquet, and operations teams
  • Oversee administrative tasks, including answering phones, responding to inquiries, entering and assigning leads in Delphi/Tripleseat, and maintaining accurate records
  • Handle financial processes such as deposits, invoicing, payments, and reconciliation across systems
  • Prepare and distribute weekly BEOs, event resumes, reports, and forecasts to support internal communication and planning
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships through consistent communication, tastings, site visits, and post-event follow-up

More about you

  • Minimum two years of experience in catering, event management, or hospitality operations
  • Strong organizational and communication skills; ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Proficiency with Opera, Delphi, Tripleseat, and event management software preferred
  • Flexible schedule to accommodate evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
  • No degree required; equivalent professional experience considered
