About the Role:  As a Catering Manager, you will work directly with clients planning events and meetings creating an enjoyable and memorable guest experience from start to finish ensuring a positive lasting impression.  Serve as the primary liaison between the sales team and the staff while focusing on the client's expectations.

Responsibilities:

• Solicit, negotiate, and book new and repeat catering business through sales calls, networking, prospecting, and lead management.
• Plan and detail all event components including menus, setup, décor, timing, and logistics.
• Create proposals, contracts, and event orders; ensure accurate and timely communication with internal teams.
• Conduct site inspections and maintain strong client relationships before, during, and after events.
• Maximize banquet space and execute sales strategies to meet or exceed revenue goals.
• Resolve client issues and ensure high levels of guest satisfaction.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Marriott brand standards, hotel systems, and competitor offerings.
• Use CI/TY, MARSHA, and Microsoft Office to manage accounts and reporting.
• Participate in community outreach, bridal shows, and industry events.
• Support other projects or duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Knowledge of catering, food & beverage, and banquet operations.
• CI/TY and MARSHA experience strongly preferred.
• STS experience strongly preferred.
• CVENT experience strongly preferred.
• Strong communication, organization, closing, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple events and deadlines.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Compensations ranges between $70,000 - $72,000 per year plus commissions
