Summary:

The Turndown Attendant is responsible for providing evening guestroom service, ensuring a welcoming and comfortable environment for hotel guests. This includes refreshing guest rooms, restocking amenities, adjusting bedding, and creating a relaxing atmosphere. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, courteous, and committed to delivering exceptional and genuine hospitality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform evening turndown service in guest rooms, including straightening linens, fluffing pillows, and placing amenities.
  • Replace used towels, replenish toiletries, and restock in-room refreshments as needed.
  • Empty trash bins and ensure the overall tidiness of the room.
  • Dim lights, close curtains, and create a comfortable ambiance for guests.
  • Leave turndown gifts such as chocolates, notes, or complimentary items as per hotel standards.
  • Report any maintenance issues or guest requests to the appropriate department.
  • Respect guest privacy and adhere to "Do Not Disturb" policies.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of housekeeping carts and storage areas.
  • Follow safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards as set by the hotel.Requirements & Qualifications:
  • Previous housekeeping or hospitality experience preferred but not required.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
  • Excellent guest service skills and a polite, professional demeanor.
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently within time constraints.
  • Physical stamina to stand, bend, and lift up to 25 lbs.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
