Kitchen Cleaner / Dishwasher

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize all kitchen surfaces, floors, and equipment according to hotel standards.
• Wash and store pots, pans, utensils, dishes, and other kitchen tools.
• Operate cleaning equipment such as floor scrubbers and pressure washers safely when required.
• Remove trash and recyclables from kitchen areas and dispose of them properly.
• Restock cleaning supplies and report any shortages or equipment malfunctions.
• Follow all safety and hygiene protocols, including proper handling of cleaning chemicals.
• Assist with deep cleaning tasks as scheduled (e.g., ovens, hoods, walk-in refrigerators).
• Report any maintenance issues to the supervisor promptly.
• Operate efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment
• Empty, wash, and return trash bins when over ¾ full
• Keep the wash area neat and organized
• Assist with receiving and organizing kitchen inventory (food, dishware, cleaning supplies)
• Support both Back of House and Front of House team members
• Pitch in for special and deep cleaning projects
• Foster a hospitable and team-oriented atmosphere with guests and colleagues
• Perform other duties as assigned
