Corporate HR Director (Hospitality)

We are seeking a hands‑on Corporate HR Director to serve as the sole HR professional at corporate, responsible for corporate payroll, benefits administration, and advisory support to 5 properties and 2 corporate entities with approximately 600 employees located in 3 states. This position is located in Raleigh, NC.
Key Responsibilities:
Payroll Administration:
Manage and process corporate payroll using ADP Workforce Now, including employee onboarding, wage adjustments, deductions, payroll audits, garnishments, and ensuring accuracy and compliance.
401(k) Plan Administration:
Administer the company’s 401(k) plans through ADP, including ensuring plan compliance, managing employee communications, coordinating with vendors and brokers, and supporting audits.
Benefits Management:
Oversee employee benefits programs in partnership with brokers and vendors, handling renewals, issue resolution, and compliance with applicable regulations.
Advisory Support:
Provide expert guidance and support to property-level management teams and corporate leadership on employee relations, performance management, payroll, benefits, and regulatory compliance.
Compliance and Policy Maintenance:
Maintain and update HR policies, employee handbooks, and procedural documentation to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws across multiple jurisdictions.
Oversight of Property-Level Payroll and Benefits:
Advise and support property teams responsible for payroll processing, benefits, employee relations and employee recordkeeping to ensure consistency and compliance across all locations.
Leave Administration:
Coordinate and support employee leave of absence processes, including FMLA and other statutory leaves, in collaboration with property-level HR teams.
EEO Reporting:
Prepare and file the company’s annual Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) reports in compliance with federal requirements.
Workers’ Compensation:
Oversee workers’ compensation processes, including claims coordination and communication with carriers and property management.
Regulatory Monitoring:
Stay current on changes in labor laws, payroll regulations, and benefits compliance requirements and adjust corporate practices accordingly.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Collaborate closely with the CFO and VP of Operations, property General Managers, benefits brokers, and payroll vendors to ensure effective and compliant HR operations.
