What You’ll Do

• Exemplifies MCR’s values and set a great example by always demonstrating excellent guest service and professionalism.
• Practice, support and promote the mission, vision, and values of Muckleshoot Casino Resort.
• Assist with month-end inventories.
• Receive, inventory, and organize equipment.
• Ensure readiness and availability of all catering equipment for banquet functions.
• Receive, stock, and rotate food and beverage items.
• Assist with the setup and breakdown of banquet and special events on and off the property.
• Ensure cleanliness of shelves and storage spaces for food and beverage products.
• Create and maintain a positive work environment.
• Transport, delivery and retrieve food and beverage products and equipment by hand, via transport carts or mid-size catering trucks throughout MCR premises and to/from local off property location
• Promote positive team member relations and report issues to appropriate personnel.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

What You’ll Bring

• Ability to obtain a Class III B gaming license.
• Valid WA Driver’s License
• Minimum of 1 (one) year stocking, inventory control and receiving experience preferred.
• Forklifts and pallet jacks experience preferred.
• Valid Washington State Health Card/Food Handlers Permit required.

• Knowledge of MSDS and the chemicals used in the department.
• Knowledge of health & safety standards, and safety regulations as required.
• Skilled in both written and verbal.
• Read, write, and speak English fluently.
• Ability to maintain a well-groomed presence, professional attitude and demonstrate ability to follow specific instructions.
• Ability to interact with diverse individuals and function as a member of the team.
• Ability to successfully complete work in a timely and efficient manner.
• Ability to manage stress under pressure.
• Ability to recognize smells, fumes, and odors.
• Ability to demonstrate strong attention to detail, guest service, team member relations, time management and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage working on multiple tasks at the same time with speed, efficiency, and attention to detail.
• Ability to utilize portable radio or cell phone to stay in constant contact with the department.
