We are in search of an experienced and engaging Executive Housekeeper to lead our Housekeeping team.

The Executive Housekeeper is responsible for leading the housekeeping operation to ensure the highest standards of cleanliness, guest satisfaction, safety, and efficiency. This role oversees daily operations, manages housekeeping staff, controls budgets and inventory, and ensures compliance with brand, health, and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead, train, and supervise housekeeping managers, supervisors, and room attendants
  • Ensure guest rooms, public areas, back-of-house areas, and laundry facilities meet or exceed cleanliness and brand standards
  • Develop work schedules, assign duties, and manage labor costs effectively
  • Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms and public spaces; address deficiencies promptly
  • Manage inventory of linens, amenities, chemicals, and equipment; control costs and prevent loss
  • Collaborate with Front Office, Engineering, and Laundry to ensure smooth daily operations and room readiness
  • Handle guest concerns and service recovery related to housekeeping with professionalism and urgency
  • Implement and enforce health, safety, and sanitation procedures (OSHA, local regulations, brand standards)
  • Prepare budgets, forecasts, and performance reports
  • Lead departmental meetings and ongoing training initiatives
  • Support sustainability and environmental programs where applicable

Requirements

Qualifications
  • Minimum 3–5 years of housekeeping management experience in a hotel or resort environment
  • Prior experience as an Assistant Executive Housekeeper or Housekeeping Manager preferred
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage large teams in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of housekeeping operations, cleaning techniques, and safety standards
  • Proficiency with housekeeping systems and hotel PMS software
  • Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 25–50 lbs as required
  • Ability to inspect rooms and public areas thoroughly
