Delaware North Parks and Resorts is hiring a seasonal Front of the house Restaurant Supervisor to join our team at Niagara Falls State Park in Niagara Falls, New York.

Pay

$19.00 – $21.00 / hour

What will you do?

  • Assign duties to scheduled front of the house team members
  • Perform service tasks, such as clearing tables, serving food and drinks, seating guests, and bartending duties when necessary
  • Investigate and resolve situations regarding food quality, service, or accommodations
  • Help assign server sections and side jobs for each shift
  • Review work procedures and operational initiatives to improve service, performance, or safety
  • Assist Restaurant Manager with team member trainings and pre shift meetings
  • Help manager and event captain with catering events
  • Assist manager with month end inventories
  • Monitor daily and hourly cleaning
  • Ensure proper cash handling and tip record keeping for shift

More about you

  • Previous restaurant experience preferred 
  • Minimum of 2 years’ supervisory experience preferred
  • Must adhere to company uniform standards and grooming guidelines
  • Must be self-motivated, able to work without direct supervision, accept challenges, and embrace new opportunities 
  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
  • Excellent customer service and employee relation skills

Physical requirements

  • Ability to lift or carry 50 pounds
  • Ability to stand or walk 100% of the time                       
  • Possible exposure to high volume of noise
