Position Summary
Horseshoe Bay Resort’s flagship members-only restaurant is seeking a seasoned, polished Restaurant Supervisor to uphold the standard of excellence our members and guests expect. The primary objective of this role is to drive guest satisfaction by fostering a high-performance team environment. The Supervisor oversees daily floor operations, ensures strict adherence to service standards, and serves as a vital link between the kitchen and front-of-house staff to deliver a seamless luxury dining experience.
Core Responsibilities
Operational Leadership

Shift Management: Oversee the opening and closing of shifts using established manager checklists. Ensure the floor is adequately covered and remain present during the entire meal period.

Service Standards: Train, maintain, and enforce Horseshoe Bay Resort and Crescent Hotels & Resorts service benchmarks. Conduct daily taste panels and menu classes to ensure staff product knowledge.

Problem Solving: Proactively resolve operational hurdles such as staffing call-outs, last-minute bookings, and guest concerns.

Quality Assurance: Monitor every plate for quality before it reaches the guest and manage a repair and maintenance program via work orders and inspections.
Financial & Administrative Oversight

Labor Control: Manage daily staffing levels and scheduling in alignment with budget guidelines and occupancy forecasts.

Revenue Integrity: Properly execute check control and revenue procedures; handle daily associate relations, including time adjustments and scheduling.

Strategic Support: Assist in identifying and implementing marketing plans and quality improvement processes for assigned outlets to drive financial results.
Guest & Associate Relations

Member Engagement: Initiate aggressive guest interaction by seeking feedback and building relationships with members.

Team Development: Support a highly motivated work environment through empowerment principles, fair station rotation, and hands-on assistance during peak periods.

Safety & Sanitation: Maintain a safe, sanitary, and environmentally responsible work environment for all guests and associates in compliance with health codes.
Employment Standards
Education & Experience
-
Experience: Minimum of two (2) years of food service or related hospitality management experience in a high-volume or luxury setting.

Education: High school diploma or GED required; college degree in Hospitality or Business is highly valued.

Age: Must be at least 18 years of age.
Certifications & Skills

Required: Valid TABC Certification and Food Handlers Certification.

Technical Knowledge: Robust understanding of restaurant operations, point-of-sale (POS) systems, and OSHA Hazard Communication Standards.

Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to lead diverse teams.

Work Ethic: Demonstrated leadership qualities, a strong work ethic, and a "team-first" mentality.
Physical & Mental Requirements

Stamina & Strength: Must possess the physical agility to perform duties in a fast-paced environment, including standing for long periods and lifting/moving up to 50 pounds.

Safety Compliance: Adhere to all company safety and security policies; report accidents or unsafe conditions immediately.

Professionalism: Maintain a professional appearance, including slip-resistant, enclosed-toe/heel footwear. Must project a hospitable atmosphere at all times.
