JOB OVERVIEW: A Food Runner/Busser is responsible for delivering food and beverages from the kitchen to customers efficiently, accurately and courteously, supporting the waitstaff and ensuring a smooth dining experience.

REPORTS TO: Restaurant Supervisor/Manager, Director Food & Beverage

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  1. Transport food and drinks from the kitchen to tables promptly, ensuring correct items reach the right customers and maintaining proper presentation and temperature.
  2. Support servers by bringing extra utensils, napkins, or condiments, and clearing tables to maintain workflow.
  3. Set tables with appropriate tableware, silverware and decorations, and help with cleanup after service.
  4. Work closely with servers, bartenders, and kitchen staff to maintain a smooth flow of service and promote teamwork.
  5. Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, service stations, and kitchen stations, adhering to health and safety standards.
  6. Comply with attendance rules and be available to work on a regular basis.
  7. Perform any other job-related duties as assigned.
