* This position is a part-time 30 hours a week, morning position starting at 5:00am

Responsibilities:

· Greeting and escorting all guests to tables, assisting in seating and distributing menus

· Extending courteous departures as guests leave the restaurant

· Preparing station chart and assigning stations to staff following departmental procedures

· Inspecting condition and cleanliness of menus and wine lists; ensuring designated amounts are available. Updating menus and wine lists as changes occur

· Inspecting the restaurant environment and entrance area

· Inspecting tables and stations, ensuring that all set-ups meet the department standards

· Taking, recording and confirming restaurant reservations/cancellations as specified in departmental standards

· Communicating pertinent information to coworkers during operation

· Extend courteous departures as guests leave the restaurant

Requirements:

· Prior Food Service experience is ideal, but willing to train the right person. We are dedicated to thoroughly training & developing our team into hotel leaders through interactive teamwork in a positive work environment!

· A genuine passion for the culinary arts, food, and beverage, with a willingness to continuously learn and grow.

· Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build genuine connections with guests and colleagues

· Familiarity with basic math skills for measuring ingredients and calculating drink prices

· Ability to handle food safely and follow proper food handling procedures

· Ability to multitask and stay calm under pressure, ensuring efficient service even during peak dining hour

· Excellent English communication skills and able to read, write and speak fluently
