THE ROLE:

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Server to join the team at NoMI Lounge & Garden, an upscale dining destination within the Park Hyatt Chicago. In this role, you will be at the heart of delivering exceptional guest experiences, combining attentive service with an extensive knowledge of our diverse menu and drink offerings. Whether interacting with guests or collaborating with the team, your goal will be to create an atmosphere of warmth and sophistication while ensuring every guest feels welcomed and valued. WAGE INFORMATION:

The hourly rate for this position is $13.36 Tips. This position is also eligible to earn overtime and premium pay under certain circumstances.

Requirements

• Experience: Minimum of 2 years' experience as a server in a food service or hospitality role, in a luxury or high-end restaurant environment.
• Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with guests, take orders accurately, and provide detailed menu recommendations.
• Attention to Detail: Ability to ensure order accuracy, timely delivery, and high standards of presentation to enhance the guest experience.
• Customer Service: A demonstrated commitment to providing exceptional service with a focus on creating a welcoming, personalized dining experience for each guest.
• Physical Stamina: Ability to handle the physical demands of the role, including lifting trays, carrying multiple items, standing for long periods, and working in a fast-paced environment.
• Team Collaboration: Ability to work efficiently with the kitchen, bartenders, and fellow servers to ensure smooth and seamless service.
• Professionalism: Consistently maintains a polished and professional appearance, reflecting the high standards of Park Hyatt Chicago and NoMI Lounge & Garden.
• Availability: Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required to meet the needs of our guests and the business.
