THE ROLE

The Houseperson is responsible for assisting (delivering and picking up) guest room attendants with linens and trash from guest rooms, and, as needed, delivering requested guest items to rooms, including toiletries and amenities. Responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and the appearance of the hotel by deep cleaning and preventative maintenance. Responding to guest requests in the hotel’s continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

• Stocking housekeeping storage areas/closets.
• Delivering items as needed/requested.
• Cleaning designated areas around the hotel.
• Replenishing supplies and items as needed.
• Responding to guest requests and needs.
• Assisting meeting space set up.
• Maintaining a clean and safe environment.
• Practicing a high attention to detail.
• Respond to special guest requests in a timely, friendly, and efficient manner.
• Work cooperatively and professionally with co-workers and supervisors.
• Other housekeeping duties as assigned.

WHAT WE LOOK FOR:

• Previous houseperson in a full-service hotel or similar job experience preferred.
• Individuals with passion for customer service and able to work with others seamlessly. This means having no problem collaborating within a diverse team.
• Dynamic and working calmly under pressure.
• Ability to y be carrying/lifting up to 25 pounds, frequent kneeling, pushing, pulling, lifting and occasional ascending or descending ladders, stairs and ramps.
• Flexibility to accommodate varying schedules including weekends and holidays.
