Job Description

The Food Runner plays a crucial role in ensuring a seamless dining experience for our guests. You will be responsible for efficiently delivering food orders from the kitchen to guest tables, ensuring accurate and timely service.

Responsibilities:

  • Food Delivery:
    • Efficiently transport food orders from the kitchen to guest tables.
    • Ensure accurate order delivery, verifying items and table numbers.
    • Maintain food presentation and temperature standards.
  • Table Setting and Clearing:
    • Set tables with appropriate tableware and condiments.
    • Clear tables of used dishes and debris promptly.
    • Reset tables for incoming guests.
  • Guest Service:
    • Interact with guests in a friendly and professional manner.
    • Address guest needs and concerns promptly.
    • Anticipate guest needs and provide proactive service.
  • Kitchen Support:
    • Assist kitchen staff as needed, such as plating dishes or running errands.
    • Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
    • Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines.
  • Teamwork:
    • Collaborate effectively with the kitchen and front-of-house teams.
    • Communicate clearly and efficiently with colleagues.
    • Contribute to a positive and supportive work environment.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a fast-paced restaurant or hospitality setting preferred.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lift and carry trays of food.
  • Food Handler's Certification (or willingness to obtain).
