Housekeeping Supervisor

Under new ownership, our 309‑room property is undergoing a complete top‑to‑bottom renovation and an exciting rebranding to an upscale hotel brand—Hyatt Regency. This pivotal moment offers a rare chance to contribute to the operational foundation, service culture, and guest experience of a fully revitalized hospitality environment.

The Housekeeping Supervisor will be a hands‑on, detail‑driven leader responsible for supporting the daily operations of the housekeeping department. This includes ensuring immaculate guest rooms and public spaces, upholding elevated brand standards, guiding room attendants and housepersons, and maintaining smooth, efficient workflows throughout the shift. As an ambassador of the Hyatt Regency brand, this leader will help deliver the polished, welcoming, and refined environment that defines the property’s new identity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily housekeeping operations, ensuring all guest rooms, public areas, and back‑of‑house spaces meet brand standards at all times
  • Inspect rooms daily, ensuring all standards are met before releasing rooms for sale
  • Monitor cleanliness of guest corridors, stairwells, elevators, and linen closets
  • Maintain proper par levels of guest room supplies, amenities, and guest‑request items
  • Provide direct oversight to Room Attendants, House Attendants, and  Public Area Attendants
  • Train, coach, and mentor team members to uphold cleanliness, safety, and service standards
  • Conduct daily briefings and attend departmental meetings
  • Monitor each Room Attendant’s progress throughout the shift and provide corrective coaching when standards are missed
  • Perform daily employee standard testing and collect room and floor status sheets
  • Ensure all housekeeping equipment is properly used, maintained, and stored
  • Conduct inventories of equipment, linen, and glassware
  • Coordinate and follow up on work orders to ensure timely completion
  • Advise the Executive Housekeeper on room conditions, maintenance needs, and overall property cleanliness
  • Handle guest complaints related to housekeeping promptly, professionally, and with a sense of urgency
  • Maintain a friendly, courteous, and service‑focused demeanor while interacting with guests and colleagues
  • Communicate effectively with other departments to support seamless operations and exceptional guest experiences
  • Ensure sufficient supplies are available on guest floors and in public areas

Qualifications:

  • 1-2 years of hotel experience.
  • Hotel experience required in housekeeping
  • Experience with hotel operations software programs.
  • Skillful in project planning/ tasks and able to prioritize projects/ tasks.
  • Highly organized and efficient, pro-active and results driven, and ability to adapt and demonstrate flexibility. Leads by example and with integrity.
  • Excellent communicator and team motivator. Business-like, socially engaged, passionate, expressive demonstrating a positive attitude.

Availability: The hotel operates 7 days a week, 24 hours a day. Schedules must accommodate fluctuating business demands
