What will you do?
- Supervise the kitchen team to ensure safe working practices and cleanliness pre, during, and post events
- Support the kitchen team and chefs, implementing back-of-house standard operating procedures in line with company and government guidelines
- Support with team recruitment, training, welcome days, and other activities
- Support management of the equipment budget, sourcing materials, and tracking stock, while also supporting with logistical tasks
- Ensure the operation complies with current health and safety, food hygiene, fire regulations, licensing laws, and trading standards, maintaining Delaware North’s policies and standards of excellence
More about you
No degree required
Forklift license is beneficial
Previous experience in a logistically challenging environment, ideally in a hotel or premium hospitality setting
Experience supporting, guiding, and leading large teams within a high-volume, fast-paced catering or hospitality environment
Knowledge of suppliers, and manual handling, as well as skills in people management, training, task delegation, and written and verbal communication
