Responsibilities:

  • Set up banquet rooms and event spaces according to event specifications
  • Serve food and beverages in a professional and timely manner
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of event areas throughout service
  • Assist with buffet setup, plated meal service, and event breakdown
  • Communicate effectively with captains, kitchen staff, and fellow team members
  • Provide friendly and attentive guest service at all times
  • Follow hotel/service standards and safety procedures

Qualifications:

  • Previous banquet or restaurant experience preferred
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
  • Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 30 lbs.

The Bentley family history in hospitality started when LV Bentley graduated from Cornell University with a degree in hotel and restaurant management. LV went on to own and manage two hotels in Carlisle, Pennsylvania: The Molly Pitcher Hotel and The James Wilson Hotel. LV’s younger brother, Frank, later partnered with him in the hospitality industry. Les V. Bentley II is the eldest son of Frank Bentley. Les continued working in the hospitality industry with Marriott Hotels, then Wyndham Hotels and eventually founded Aimbridge Hospitality. Les has four daughters who had established independent careers and have now converged at BLH continuing the family tradition leading in hospitality.
