Residence Inn Phoenix Airport is seeking a dynamic, results-driven General Manager. Conveniently located near Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport, this role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on guest experiences, team culture, and overall hotel performance — all within the trusted Residence Inn by Marriott brand.
What You'll Do
- Provide strategic leadership for all hotel operations including front office, housekeeping, food & beverage, maintenance, and sales
- Drive revenue growth by developing and executing competitive sales, pricing, and marketing strategies
- Deliver exceptional guest satisfaction scores (GSS/NPS) and maintain Hilton brand standards across all departments
- Recruit, develop, and retain a high-performing team through coaching, training, and a positive workplace culture
- Own the hotel's P&L — manage budgets, control costs, and maximize GOP and Flow through
- Cultivate relationships with corporate accounts, travel agencies, and the local business community
- Ensure full compliance with Hilton brand standards, safety regulations, and local/state licensing requirements
- Serve as the primary liaison with the hotel ownership group and asset management team
- Monitor competitive set performance and adapt strategies to maintain market share advantage
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of hotel management experience, including at least 2 years as a General Manager or Assistant General Manager at a branded property
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding financial, operational, and guest satisfaction targets
- Experience with extended stay hotels preferred; airport hotel experience a strong plus
- Deep knowledge of hotel revenue management, OTA/GDS platforms, and distribution strategy
- Familiarity with Marriott systems highly desirable
- Strong financial acumen — ability to read, analyze, and act on P&L statements and STR reports
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field (preferred)
- Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Flexibility to work varied hours including weekends and holidays as needed
