The Dishwasher position will work closely with the hotel’s food & beverage team.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Clean and sanitize glassware, silverware, china, etc.
• Maintained and stock work area.
• Inspects tableware and other items for stains, cracks, and other damage to ensure pristine look of items and report any deficiencies to the Management for prompt repair/resolution.
• Ensure the cleanliness of all dishware. Carefully wash by hand, and safely and skillfully operate the washing equipment, to thoroughly clean all service ware, cookware and utensils, including polishing stainless and silver ware.
• Help maintain safety in the kitchen by clearing spills promptly, keeping all kitchen equipment, oven vents, all floor, wall, and cook surfaces, thoroughly clean. Empty, wash, and return trash bins over ¾ full.

1. Availability to work varied shifts and days
2. Must be able to communicate well with co-workers and management.
3. Ability to stand for hours at a times; grasping, standing, walking, repetitive motions, bending, climbing, listening and hearing ability and visual acuity
4. The ability to operate a dishwashing machine, careful dishware handling and floor maintenance is expected
