Bartender

We are seeking a skilled and personable Bartender to join our full-service hotel team. This role is responsible for delivering exceptional beverage service in a fast-paced environment, supporting operations across the hotel bar and restaurant. The ideal candidate combines strong mixology skills with outstanding guest service.

Key Responsibilities

Beverage Service

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to guests
• Create classic and signature cocktails with consistency and quality
• Maintain in-depth knowledge of drink menus, wine lists, and promotions

Guest Experience

• Provide friendly, attentive, and professional service at all times
• Engage with guests, make recommendations, and personalize the experience
• Handle guest concerns or special requests promptly

Bar Operations

• Set up and break down bar areas for daily service and events
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and presentation of the bar
• Ensure proper stock levels, garnishes, and supplies

Inventory & Compliance

• Monitor inventory levels and assist with restocking
• Follow all alcohol service laws and responsible serving practices
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards

Requirements: Due to the cyclical nature of the hospitality industry, employees may be required to work varying schedules (including nights, holidays and weekends) to reflect the business needs of the hotel. In addition, attendance at all scheduled training sessions and meetings is required.

• 2+ years of bartending experience, preferably in a hotel, upscale bar, or restaurant
• Evening shifts – Thursdays, Fridays, & Saturday 3:30P – 12A
• Strong knowledge of cocktails, beer, wine, and mixology techniques
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Team-oriented with a positive attitude
• Ability to use MICROS
• Must meet legal requirements for alcohol service (e.g., TIPS certification where applicable)
