The Utility / Dishwasher at Social Capitol is a vital support role within the culinary team, responsible for maintaining cleanliness, organization, and operational efficiency in the kitchen while also assisting with food preparation tasks. This hybrid position bridges dishwashing and prep cook responsibilities, ensuring that kitchen operations run smoothly and safely during all service periods. This role plays a critical part in supporting both front-of-house and back-of-house success by ensuring all kitchen tools, equipment, and service ware are consistently clean and available, while also contributing to food prep and production. The Utility / Dishwasher is also responsible for receiving and properly storing delivery orders, maintaining organization across storage areas, and supporting the culinary team during high-volume service. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Operate dishwashing equipment to clean and sanitize items efficiently
Maintain cleanliness of dish areas, floors, drains, and trash stations
Ensure compliance with sanitation standards
Assist with general kitchen cleaning tasks
Store cleaned items properly
Assist with washing, chopping, and portioning ingredients
Maintain prep accuracy and consistency
Support line cooks during service
Keep prep areas clean and compliant
