What will you do?

• Welcome guests with a warm smile and friendly conversation while creating a positive shopping experience. 
• Promote upsell items and recommend additional merchandise while assisting guests on the sales floor.
• Stock, price, organize, and recover merchandise on the sales floor and in the stockroom to maintain show readiness. 
• Process daily merchandise deliveries including unboxing, pricing, hanging, and proper storage. 
• Maintain merchandise organization by tracking locations, returning misplaced items, and storing hangers throughout the day and at closing. 
• Prepare autograph tables daily and support guest flow during astronaut signing events. 
• Log and dispose of damaged merchandise and complete stockroom cleaning and organization tasks before closing.
• After 6 months of start date you are eligible to transfer to food and beverage and operations departments.
• You may be regularly required to drive yourself to a remote work location where public transportation is not available, and you will be asked to show NASA credentials for entry.
• Drive a company vehicle as needed.
• All other duties as assigned. 

More about you

• Must be at least 18 years of age to apply. 
• Must be able to read, understand, and follow written and verbal instructions in English.
• Must be available to work weekends and holidays and to work on-call by being scheduled within 24hrs.
• Must be able to pass a Delaware North and NASA background check and receive a NASA ID badge. 
• Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to drive yourself to and from work.
• Ability to complete NetSuite ERP training.  
• Previous retail experience preferred. 

Physical requirements

• Able to stand for long periods of time including walking, bending, twisting, reaching, stretching and lifting items up to 50 lbs.
• Able to withstand various temperatures including indoor and outdoor climates.
