Looking for a Night Owl with a Passion for Hospitality!

As a Night Auditor, you are the face of the hotel overnight and serve as the property's Manager on Duty during your shift. You will provide exceptional guest service while ensuring the safety, security, and smooth operation of the hotel throughout the night.

Night Auditors are responsible for welcoming guests, handling overnight requests, processing arrivals and departures, completing nightly accounting and audit procedures, and ensuring all End-of-Day (EOD) processes are completed accurately. Success in this role requires professionalism, attention to detail, strong customer service skills, and the ability to work independently while maintaining a safe, quiet, and welcoming environment for guests.

Areas of Responsibility
  • Deliver outstanding hospitality and exceptional guest service at all times.
  • Welcome guests with a friendly, professional, and service-oriented attitude.
  • Serve as the overnight Manager on Duty and respond to guest concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Process guest check-ins and check-outs accurately and efficiently.
  • Handle all payment types, including cash, credit cards, debit cards, and room charges.
  • Resolve billing discrepancies and disputed charges with professionalism.
  • Complete the nightly audit process, including balancing accounts, reconciling transactions, and preparing daily financial reports.
  • Ensure all End-of-Day (EOD) procedures are completed accurately for every department.
  • Count and balance the front desk bank at the beginning and end of each shift.
  • Balance cash receipts and petty cash according to company accounting procedures.
  • Create, modify, and cancel guest reservations.
  • Arrange transportation for guests as needed.
  • Answer telephone calls and respond to guest requests, questions, and concerns promptly.
  • Provide guests with information regarding the hotel, local attractions, restaurants, and directions.
  • Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Monitor hotel security and maintain a safe, secure, and quiet environment overnight.
  • Follow all emergency, safety, and security procedures.
  • Protect the confidentiality of all guest and team member information.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and professional front desk and lobby area.
  • Run daily reports and verify accuracy before distribution.
  • Attend required department meetings and training sessions.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications
  • Previous Night Auditor, Front Desk, or hospitality experience preferred.
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong mathematical and basic accounting skills.
  • Comfortable using computers, property management systems, and Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Professional appearance and positive attitude.
  • Must maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
  • Availability to work overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays.
  • Open availability is preferred.
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Hospitality, or a related field is preferred but not required.
Physical Requirements
  • Stand and walk for extended periods.
  • Lift up to 25 pounds occasionally.
  • Bend, reach, stoop, and twist as needed.
  • Use computers and office equipment for extended periods.
  • Respond quickly to emergency situations when necessary.
