As a Prep Cook / Dishwasher, you'll play an essential role in keeping our kitchen running smoothly by supporting both food preparation and sanitation efforts. This position combines basic food prep responsibilities with maintaining a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen environment. The ideal candidate is dependable, efficient, detail-oriented, and enjoys working as part of a fast-paced team.

What you'll be doing...

• Prepare ingredients for service, including washing, peeling, chopping, slicing, and portioning foods according to recipes and kitchen standards
• Assist cooks with basic food preparation and stocking prep stations
• Clean and sanitize china, glassware, silverware, cookware, utensils, and kitchen equipment
• Inspect cleaned items to ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and take corrective action when needed
• Maintain clean, organized prep areas, dish stations, walk-ins, and storage areas
• Properly store food products and cleaned kitchen items in a safe and organized manner
• Assist with receiving, organizing, and rotating food and supply deliveries using FIFO practices
• Support overall kitchen cleanliness by sanitizing work surfaces, removing trash, sweeping, mopping, and completing daily cleaning tasks
• Work efficiently and safely to meet the demands of service while following all food safety and sanitation standards
• Assist with other kitchen duties as assigned to support the culinary team

• Able to stand, walk, reach, pivot, and stoop frequently and repeatedly
