Hilton Garden Inn is seeking a dependable, energetic Cook to join our Food & Beverage team. This position plays an important role in delivering a quality dining experience for hotel guests through consistently prepared, well-presented meals in a clean and safe kitchen environment. Flexible availability, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as business requires

• Prepare breakfast and dinner, and/or grab-and-go menu items according to recipes, portion standards, and presentation guidelines

• Set up, stock, and maintain an organized workstation before and during service

• Prepare ingredients, including washing, chopping, slicing, portioning, and storing food properly

• Cook, bake, grill, sauté, broil, and plate menu items in a timely manner

• Maintain food quality, temperature, freshness, and presentation standards

• Follow all food-safety, sanitation, labeling, rotation, and storage procedures

• Keep kitchen equipment, prep areas, coolers, work surfaces, and storage areas clean and organized

• Assist with receiving deliveries, monitoring inventory, minimizing waste, and communicating product needs

• Work closely with the restaurant and hotel team to provide prompt, friendly service and a positive guest experience

• Previous cooking, prep cook, line cook, restaurant, or hotel kitchen experience preferred

• Ability to follow recipes, food specifications, and standardized procedures

• Knowledge of safe food handling and sanitation practices; food-handler certification is a plus

• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail

• Dependable attendance, a positive attitude, and a team-oriented approach

• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds
