We are looking for a Part-Time Dishwasher / Steward to join our team—someone who takes pride in their work, acts with integrity, and contributes to a clean, safe, and organized kitchen.

Position Summary

The Dishwasher / Steward supports daily food and beverage operations by maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of dishware, kitchen equipment, and work areas. This role helps ensure that our culinary and service teams have the clean equipment and supplies needed to deliver exceptional guest experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Wash, sanitize, and properly store dishes, glassware, silverware, cookware, and utensils.

• Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, work surfaces, floors, and walls.

• Operate dishwashing equipment safely and report equipment issues or maintenance needs.

• Dispose of waste and recyclables in accordance with hotel procedures.

• Follow established sanitation, food safety, and workplace safety standards.

• Keep dishwashing and storage areas clean, organized, and stocked.

• Assist with monitoring cleaning supplies and kitchenware inventory.

• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a kitchen or restaurant setting preferred.

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift or move items required for the role, with or without reasonable accommodation.

• Basic knowledge of sanitation and food safety procedures.

• A dependable, cooperative approach to teamwork.

Schedule Availability

This part-time position requires flexibility based on the hotel’s operational needs, including availability to work weekends and holidays.

Compensation and Job Classification

• Pay Rate: $18.40 per hour

• Employment Type: Part-time

• Classification: Hourly
