Bistro Cook (Morning Weekend)

Summary

Shifts usually start at 6:30am until 11am. Serving hotel guests at the Bistro by cooking breakfast items and prepping food. This includes all aspects of food preparation, service and cleanup. Ultimately, you will ensure a pleasant and comfortable experience for our guests during their stay with us.

We are also looking for someone who can do simple banquet/buffet cooking on some weekends. If interested in more hours we will possibly need banquet help during busier times during the week, but that is not required. 

Essential Functions

• Cook items according to use records
• Practice standards of cleanliness and food handling
• Properly use all chemicals and equipment per manufacturer’s guidelines
• Set up and maintain all food and beverage items during any hours of food service, meeting room, and/or special Guest functions ensuring proper amounts.
• Upon completion of food service, clean up the area in accordance with standards and procedures
• Carry out any reasonable request by Management

Education, Experience, Other Requirements

Required

• Flexibility to work in shifts and report for scheduled shifts
• Ability to work with little or no supervision while meeting high-performance standards
• Excellent organization skills
• Ability to follow instructions
• Weekend availability 

Preferred

• Food and Beverage experience 
• Work experience in Customer Service in the Hospitality Field
• Experience with hotel operation systems
