Group Sales Coordinator responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Answer and direct all service/sales/catering phone calls.
• Post all payments for groups.
• Send all post function surveys to the clients.
• Maintain a good working relationship with other departments, employees and guests.
• Prepare room blocks, proposals, confirmations, thank-you letters, cover sheets, function sheets, rooming lists. Order V.I.P. amenities, as well as make room reservations.
• Greet visitors.
• Handle all correspondence to the Director of Sales and other assigned Sales Managers.
• Type memos, letters, etc. and prepare graphs, charts, statistical research and budget information.
• Distribute contracts, memos, to assigned individuals.
• Log and maintain file on documents such as reader board surveys, pre-cons, and celebration letters.
• Maintain a file of competitive studies of local resort rates and update periodically as demand requires.
• Maintain files on promotions, advertising, all Sales Department invoices, room night revenue forms and leads.

What are we looking for?

Strong administrative and computer skills are required

Enthusiasm & passion for customer service

Must possess good communication, organizational and interpersonal skills, be outgoing, perceptive and self-motivated with the ability to work harmoniously with varying personalities

Must be able to communicate articulately and comprehend written and verbal communication

Hospitality Experience preferred
