Corporate Director of Human Resources

We’re seeking a strategic and people-first Corporate Director of Human Resources to join our corporate leadership team in New York City. This is an opportunity for an experienced HR executive to help shape the people strategy behind a growing hospitality organization, driving culture, talent, engagement, and organizational performance across a dynamic portfolio.

Reporting to the SVP of Operations, this role serves as the senior HR leader for the company—partnering closely with executive leadership while providing strategic oversight and support to Area Human Resources Directors/Managers  across our Manhattan and airport  properties. 

This role offers the opportunity to influence culture, talent strategy, and operational excellence across a dynamic and growing portfolio. The position is anticipated to be based in Queens or Long Island, NY with the final location to be confirmed.

What You’ll Lead

As our HR leader, you will:

Drive Enterprise HR Strategy

  • Build and execute a scalable people strategy aligned with company growth
  • Lead talent acquisition, performance management, compensation, benefits, and compliance
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership on organizational design and workforce planning

Champion Culture & Engagement

  • Shape and sustain an engaging, high-performance culture
  • Lead recognition and engagement initiatives
  • Translate feedback into action through thoughtful employee experience strategies

Develop People & Leaders

  • Create impactful training and leadership development programs
  • Drive succession planning and career pathing
  • Support and mentor HR leaders across multiple properties

Be a Strategic Partner

  • Guide complex employee relations matters with sound judgment and discretion
  • Standardize HR practices and elevate best-in-class processes
  • Use data, insights, and business acumen to influence decisions

What You Bring

  • 7–10+ years of progressive HR leadership experience, including senior or corporate HR roles
  • Multi-unit hospitality, service, or related experience strongly preferred
  • Deep knowledge of New York employment law and HR compliance
  • Experience coaching leaders and managing HR strategy across multiple locations
  • SHRM-SCP, SPHR, or advanced HR credentials preferred

*The anticipated salary range for this position is $160,000–$165,000 annually. Final compensation will be based on factors such as relevant experience, industry background, and education.
