The Clayfield is a new 102-room luxury boutique hotel opening in Niagara-on-the-Lake and part of the Unbound Collection by Hyatt. Operated by Urgo Hotels & Resorts Canada, The Clayfield will deliver a highly personalized, refined guest experience grounded in calm luxury, craftsmanship, and a strong sense of place.

TheRoom Attendant (Part-time) play a vital role in delivering a comfortable, welcoming, and impeccably maintained guest room experience. Reporting to the Director of Housekeeping, the Room Attendant is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, comfort, and presentation of guest rooms and assigned public areas, ensuring every space reflects the exceptional standards of luxury hospitality at The Clayfield.

What You'll Do

  • Clean and service guest rooms, bathrooms, and suites in accordance with hotel cleanliness and presentation standards
  • Replace linens, towels, amenities, and guest supplies as required
  • Ensure guestrooms are properly prepared and inspected for arriving and in-house guests
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of housekeeping carts, storage areas, and service corridors
  • Identify and report maintenance concerns, safety hazards, and lost and found items promptly
  • Respond to guest requests and housekeeping service needs in a professional and timely manner
  • Support deep cleaning projects and special housekeeping assignments as required
  • Assist with cleaning and maintaining public areas including corridors, lobbies, elevators, and guest-facing spaces
  • Follow all housekeeping procedures, safety guidelines, and hotel operational standards
  • Work collaboratively with housekeeping leadership and team members to support daily operational priorities
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned

What You'll Bring

  • A strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness excellence
  • Previous housekeeping or hospitality experience is an asset
  • Ability to work efficiently and independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Professional and guest-focused communication skills
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities
  • Ability to maintain luxury cleanliness and presentation standards consistently
  • Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull housekeeping supplies and equipment up to 50 lbs (23 kg)
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive physical tasks throughout the shift
