Overview

Summit Rock is Horseshoe Bay Resort’s private, members-only golf course designed by Jack Nicklaus and recognized among Golfweek’s Top 100 Courses in America. The Summit Rock Grill serves this exclusive club with a focus on high-quality, member-driven service.

The Restaurant Supervisor is responsible for leading daily food and beverage operations, ensuring consistent service standards, and supporting team performance. This role promotes guest satisfaction through effective leadership, operational oversight, and a strong service culture.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily food and beverage operations for the Summit Rock Grill and related service areas
  • Ensure consistent delivery of prompt, professional, and accurate service to members and guests
  • Supervise, train, and support team members; enforce service standards and company policies
  • Manage staffing levels, scheduling, and shift execution
  • Monitor cleanliness, readiness, and presentation of all service areas
  • Review prior shift reports and ensure operational continuity
  • Complete closing procedures, including financial reconciliation and documentation
  • Track inventory, costs, and revenue; support budgeting and expense control
  • Process invoices and coordinate with accounting as required
  • Assist management with additional operational needs

Qualifications

  • Previous supervisory experience in food and beverage operations preferred
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage team performance in a fast-paced environment
  • Professional appearance and customer-focused approach
  • Ability to lift to 50 lbs and remain active throughout shifts
  • Ability to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
