Responsibilities:

• Perform administrative functions in support of properties sales leaders

• Promptly answer telephone calls and communicate relevant account information to

managers and departments

• Serve as the point of contact for clients and communicate with them by phone and

email to respond to questions and requests

• Generate and distribute resumes, BEOs, and lead the weekly BEO & Resume meeting.

• Enter rooming lists, notes and pickups in the Sales systems on a weekly basis.

• Reserve and confirm rooms, meeting space, and banquet space when necessary

• Send cut-off reminders, follow up emails, and thank you emails.

• Process payment, send out estimates and final bills.

• Enter, retrieve, reconcile, and verify information (e.g., commissions, leads, third

parties) in software involved in the sales process.

• Coordinate with hotel operations teams to ensure seamless execution of a group's

stay

• Politely and professionally converse with clients and respond to all inquiries

• File and organize copies of contracts and correspondence ensuring records are up

to date

• Perform other duties as requested by management

• Work schedule varies and may include occasionally working on holidays, weekends

Requirements to be successful in this role:

• Previous sales experience in a Hilton or other brand hotels establishment is ideal

• Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization

• Ability to apply common sense and understanding to carry out instructions

• Be familiar with all policies and procedures

• Attend all hotel-required meetings and training.

• Proficient in use of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint

• Be familiar with at least two of these tools; PEP, ONQ, DELPHI or STS

• Comprehension of technical applications of reservations system

• Detail-oriented, effectively use social media for postings and updates and market

hotel events

$19.00 per hour
