As a Public Area Attendant, you are an important member of our Housekeeping TEAM. You will help maintain the cleanliness, appearance, and overall presentation of the hotel's public areas, creating a welcoming and comfortable environment for our guests.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain hotel public areas, including lobbies, hallways, elevators, stairways, and restrooms
• Vacuum, sweep, mop, scrub, and polish floors and carpets
• Dust, clean, and sanitize furniture, fixtures, windows, and other surfaces
• Empty trash and maintain cleanliness of pool and other guest areas
• Restock housekeeping closets, carts, linens, and guest supplies
• Respond to guest requests in a friendly and professional manner
• Report maintenance issues, damages, safety concerns, and lost-and-found items
• Assist Room Attendants and the Housekeeping team as needed
• Follow all hotel cleanliness, safety, and service standards
• Perform additional duties as assigned by Housekeeping leadership

What We're Looking For

• Previous hotel housekeeping, public area, or cleaning experience preferred; we are willing to train the right person
• Reliable, dependable, and self-motivated with strong attention to detail
• Friendly and professional with a passion for guest service
• Able to work independently and as part of a TEAM
• Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. and stand/walk for extended periods
• Able to bend, stoop, kneel, push, pull, and lift as required, with or without reasonable accommodation
• Strong English communication skills
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus
