About the Role: The houseperson/linen runner is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the hotel's public areas, including lobbies, hallways, and restrooms. They will assist the housekeeping staff with tasks such as delivering linens and supplies, removing trash and dirty linens, and cleaning guests rooms as needed. This person will also be responsible for responding to guest requests and ensuring that all linen closets are always well-stocked and presentable.

Responsibilities: 

• Cleaning and arranging guest rooms when needed 
• Gathering dirty bedding, clothing, and linen
• Stocking and maintaining an housekeeping closets 
• Dusting furniture or fixtures and polishing them 
• Scrubbing and sanitizing showers, bathtubs, toilets, countertops, and sinks
• Vacuuming and cleaning carpets, doormats, and rugs
• Reporting breakages, damages, and safety issues for repairs

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent 
• Prior experience in housekeeping or a related field preferred
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods of time 
• Flexibility to work weekends and holidays
