About the Role:

The PHO - Bar Z Bartender AM plays a crucial role in delivering an exceptional guest experience by expertly preparing and serving beverages in a fast-paced bar environment. This position requires a strong focus on customer service, ensuring each guest feels welcomed and valued while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organization. The bartender will be responsible for accurately mixing drinks according to established recipes, managing inventory, and adhering to all safety and alcohol service regulations. Collaboration with other team members is essential to maintain smooth operations and a positive atmosphere. Ultimately, this role contributes significantly to the overall success and reputation of the establishment by fostering repeat business and customer satisfaction.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Legal age to serve alcohol in the United States.
• Previous experience as a bartender or in a customer service role within a hospitality environment.
• Basic knowledge of drink recipes and bar equipment.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting and carrying.
• Strong communication skills and a friendly, approachable demeanor.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certification in responsible alcohol service (e.g., TIPS or equivalent).
• Experience working in a high-volume bar or restaurant setting.
• Knowledge of craft cocktails and mixology techniques.
• Familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems and cash handling procedures.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings and weekends.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to guests in a timely and professional manner.
• Engage with customers to provide friendly and attentive service, answering questions about menu items and making recommendations.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including stocking supplies and cleaning glassware and utensils.
• Monitor guest behavior and ensure compliance with all legal and company policies regarding alcohol service.
• Collaborate with team members to manage inventory, restock as needed, and support overall bar operations.
