Position Overview
As a Host (Bell / Door Person), you are the first and last impression of The Fifth Avenue Hotel. You will warmly welcome guests upon arrival, provide seamless assistance with luggage and transportation, and deliver thoughtful, anticipatory service throughout each guest’s stay. This role is integral to creating a gracious, polished, and memorable arrival and departure experience.

Guest Arrival & Departure Experience
Warmly greet guests at the hotel entrance with genuine hospitality and professionalismAssist guests with arrival and departure logistics, ensuring a smooth and welcoming experienceCoordinate transportation and support valet or car service arrangements as neededLuggage Handling & Guest Support
Load, unload, and transport luggage with care and efficiencyTag, store, and retrieve luggage accurately and securelyEscort guests to our reception desk, ensuring comfort and ease upon arrivalAn Overview
Provide a thoughtful overview of hotel amenities, and servicesAnticipate guest needs and offer assistance proactivelyGuest Services & Deliveries
Deliver packages, amenities, and requested items to guest rooms promptly and discreetlyAssist with room changes and special requests with attention to detailOperational Support
Maintain organization and cleanliness of the guest entrance and luggage storage areasStock and support operational needs when necessaryLocal Knowledge & Guest Engagement
Maintain familiarity with local attractions, transportation options, and neighborhood highlightsKeep informational materials current and readily available for guestsCollaboration & Service Excellence
Partner closely with Front Office and Guest Services teams to ensure seamless service deliveryMaintain awareness of guest feedback and satisfaction metricsConsistently contribute to enhancing the overall guest experienceSafety & Standards

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Previous customer service experience required; luxury hospitality experience preferredStrong interpersonal and communication skills with a polished, professional presenceAbility to remain composed and service-focused in a fast-paced environmentWork Environment
Flexible schedule required, including weekends, holidays, and varied shifts
