Responsibilities:

  • Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules
  • Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts for multiple investment entities
  • Monitor cash activity and bank reconciliations across all investment entities
  • Assist with quarterly and annual financial close process
  • Support with preparation of financial statements
  • Assist with asset trial balance close, rent calculations, and other analyses as needed
  • Assist with annual audit workpapers and respond to auditor requests
  • Assist with investor reporting and ad-hoc requests

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree with a major in Accounting or Finance preferred
  • 1-3  years of accounting experience
  • Excellent quantitative/analytical and verbal/written communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in fast paced, deadline driven environment
  • Technology proficiency is essential as the candidate would leverage a number of software applications such as Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
