Server Assistant

What you will be doing

- Assist servers in providing excellent customer service to guests
- Set up and clean tables before and after guests are seated
- Clear dishes and glassware from tables during and after meals
- Refill water glasses and replenish table condiments as needed
- Assist with food delivery to tables, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
- Communicate guest requests or concerns to servers or management
- Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, including sweeping and mopping floors
- Assist with food preparation and plating as necessary
- Follow food safety guidelines to ensure proper handling of food

The ideal candidate for this position

- Strong customer service skills to provide a positive dining experience for guests
- Knowledge of banquet or hotel service procedures is a plus
- Ability to communicate effectively with team members and guests
- Basic understanding of food safety practices to maintain a clean and safe environment
- Experience in bussing or serving roles is preferred but not required
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment
