Job Summary

The Housekeeping Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the housekeeping department at Hotel Morgan. This includes managing a team of housekeeping staff, ensuring that guest rooms and public areas are clean and well-maintained, and maintaining inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage a team of housekeeping staff, including scheduling, training, and performance management
• Ensure that guest rooms and public areas are cleaned and maintained to the highest standards
• Inspect rooms and public areas regularly to ensure cleanliness and maintenance standards are met
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, and order supplies as needed
• Respond to guest complaints and requests in a timely and professional manner
• Ensure compliance with hotel policies and procedures, as well as health and safety regulations
• Assist with budget planning and management for the housekeeping department
• Perform other duties as assigned by the General Manager

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a supervisory role in housekeeping or a related field
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Knowledge of cleaning supplies, equipment, and techniques
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
• High school diploma or equivalent; college degree in hospitality or related field preferred

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods of time
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
